A creative coach who possesses real professionalism into his coaching, extremely passionate about the the game of football and developing plus naturing youngsters to achieve successful outcomes. A former Samuel Montagu Youth Club member!

Peter Sweeney - Head Coach

Former Professional Footballer who made is name with Millwall FC, played in the 2004 FA Cup Final v Manchester United FC. Went on to represent numerous professional clubs, Leeds United FC, Stoke City FC just to name a few. A former Samuel Montagu FC player who was a product of the fantastic club when it had one of the best reputations in South East London. Now coaching to pass on his experience to local talent and help children achieve there dreams. A memory that’s close to Peter and is now willing to give back to the local community and develop talent and whats even better for this to be done at a club he played for as a youngster.

Peter Burke - Head GoalKeeping Coach

Peter started playing at county level football at school where he moved on and spent 4 years at Tottenham Hotspur. He played for South East Counties plus the reserve team and had 2 tours before an injury cut career short .

He then played non league for Dartford FC, Gravesend and Northfleet FC, Crawley Town FC, & Sheppy United FC.

Peter also spent 12 years at VCD Athletic where he sustained a serious knee injury. This cut short his playing career. He then became Assistant Manager/Goalkeeping Coach. Afterwards Peter then joined Greenwich Borough FC as Goalkeeping Coach and was coach to Craig Holloway the he played for the club.
